301 – Historic Woodbury (Art) Studio

It’s not just about the fabulous view or the fact the this three bedroom flat is nestled upon the rocky ledge at the water’s edge – it is about so much more- The Charles H. Woodbury art studio, circa 1898, was his classroom where Charles Woodbury, artist and visionary, helped fuel the artist colony in Ogunquit.

Representations of his work hang on the walls and his easel decoratively blends in with the decor of the living room.  A baby grand fills the opposite corner just under the large picture pane window where views of Perkins Cove take a bit of your breath away.

Like a fine patina, there’s a complimentary blend of old and new only found with time and tenderness.  Artistically decorated and comfortably furnished, the art studio lends itself nicely to a three bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, waterfront accommodation.

There’s a first floor bedroom and bath, private patio overlooking the ledge outcroppings folding into the ocean’s depths, updated interior design, spiral staircase to the second level bedrooms, and two parking spaces.  Stroll down a short path abutting the harbor to the famous drawbridge and within the blink of an eye, you are in Perkins Cove.

Just out of the hustle and bustle yet a stones throw to fine restaurants, shops, lobster boats and the Marginal Way.  Catch the local trolley and go anywhere in the community.  Come back to the Charles Woodbury (art) Studio for a most wonderful experience.
