Keep Maine Healthy ~ Know Before You Go

Under the plan, adults – persons 18 and older – who took and received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before a visit, may forgo the 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Maine.

There is also no quarantine or COVID-19 test requirement for residents from Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Visitors from other states are required to quarantine for up to 14 days or complete the Certificate of Compliance verifying they have: 1) Quarantined for 14 days IN Maine; or 2) have received a negative test result for COVID-19 with 72 hours prior to arrival in Maine; or 3) they will quarantine in Maine for 14 days. Restaurants are open for outdoor and indoor dining, using state-approved safety protocols and social distancing.

Retail stores are open, using state-approved safety protocols and social distancing.

Beaches and Marginal Way are open. The town of Ogunquit asks that you always wear your mask when walking Marginal Way. Please also wear your mask throughout the community and on the beach when 6 feet social distancing is not possible. When placing towels and chairs on the beach, please stay 12 feet away from neighboring parties.
